Pastor Robin Morgan  Board President

Rock of Ages Baptist Church


Robin M. Morgan is currently the pastor of Rock Of Ages Baptist Church in Kansas City Missouri. He has been Senor Pastor for seven years and has an unprecedented desire to improve the lives of those in his congregation and in the community, he serves. With a background is in Education, Rev. Morgan has taught in practically every level of education, including elementary, middle school, high school, and college. He taught at the University of California San Diego as, lecturer, and supervisor of teacher education, and director of AmeriCorps and Summer Bridge. Robin has taught in four states and five countries in both English and Spanish. He was an Assistance Principal for San Diego Unified School District and he taught High School Spanish here in Kansas City.

Along with being a full-time pastor in Mid-Town Kansas City, Robin currently manages a team for Weight Watchers International at the Overland Park Kansas Contact Center. Robin is married with two children ages 20 and 10. Robin Holds a BA in Education and an MS in Educational Administration. He honored to be part of an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for those in the community he serves.
Robin is a long-time resident of the Kansas City area. He is currently involved in prison ministry, where he mentors, visit local institutions, and offers his services to the community.

Anthony High  Board Member

International Artist


Anthony developed a love for art at a very young age which seemed to be part of his DNA. Anthony High is a Kansas City native, international artist, and educator. He received his bachelor of Arts Degree in Arts Education for Lincoln University and a Master’ Degree from the University Of Missouri Kansas City. Anthony taught for the Kansas City Missouri school district for over 29 years always with a desire to give back to the community. He is an adjunct professor at UMKC and the Metropolitan Community Colleges of Kansas City. He also teaches at the Nelson Atkins Museum, he serves on the board of Deacons at Rock Of Ages MBC and is always inspiring you to strive to reach their potential. He brings a wealth of knowledge, talent and drive to the board of Midtown Community Life Center. Anthony is married to the love of his life and they have one child. He is eager to be part of this organization, which is dedicated to improving the quality of life for those in the community he serves. Anthony continues to serve as a substitute teacher which offers another channel to give back to the community and inspire young people to be their best.

Roger Winters  Board Member

Construction Profession


Deacon Roger Winters worked as a construction profession and heavy equipment operator, working for the city of Kansas City for over 25 years. He has continued to server other with his passion in culinary art. He has managed a small catering business for many years. Some call him a jack of all trades because of his passion to help other. He has been active in helping seniors with landscaping and keeping their lawn presentable during the warn weather and snow removed during the winter. He served on the rock of ages Deacon board for over 26 years and is active in all aspects of church operation. Roger Winter is has been married for over 30 years and has 4 children.

Geraldine Coleman  Board Member

Team Member


Born in Arkansas but relocated to Kansas as a child and considers herself 100% Kansas Citian. Sister Coleman was married for 50 years and has one child. Geraldine was at travel professional working for Trans World Airlines for 35 years. After retiring she was able to become more active in her church. She has always had a passion for working to make a difference in the community she lives. She has served as a deaconess for over 30 years and continue to teach and improve her skills in educating disciples. She has been active in the National Baptist Congress for Christian Education for over 30 years, always looking for new and innovative ways to help improve her church and community at large. She Continues to volunteer with helping the elderly and those with special needs. She is truly a light shining in the community.

Maurice Brewer  Board Member

Community Board Member


Maurice is a true asset to Midtown Community Life Center board. Maurice has an incredible desire to help under privileged individuals in need of assistance. Maurice has worked as Assistant Public Defender or the Missouri State Public Defender’s office. He has worked as Assistance Prosecuting Attorney for the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office and is currently working with the Wyandotte County District Attorney’s office. Maurice has a vast knowledge of the special needs, that the disadvantaged individuals in the communities we serve. Maurice is a Creighton graduate and received his law degree at Washburn University. He has a worked to support, uplift, encourage and inspire youth to be the best they can be.
